Back in December 2024, a big dryer turned up at our door. Shipped in from abroad, it was the piece of kit that made AMINO ROAD everything it is today.
We didn't start with a business plan. We started with a simple question: what do we actually want to eat? Real food, made from natural ingredients, that fits into a busy, active life without any of the faff.
So we got to work. We picked ingredients we loved, ran test after test through the dryer, and started building recipes from scratch.
It wasn't smooth sailing. Some early batches didn't rehydrate right. Some flavours just didn't land. A few "great ideas" ended up straight in the bin. That's just what building something new looks like.... You try, you fail, you tweak, you try again.
But slowly, the recipes started clicking. Flavour came through. Texture worked. And most importantly... people loved it.
That trial and error is baked into every meal we make now. Every bowl you rehydrate in 5 minutes started life as a version that probably didn't work first time round. But we're committed to making 100% natural food that can be prepared in just 5 minutes.
We're still doing the same thing today: chasing the recipes we genuinely want to eat, and sharing them with you.
